Suez Canal Update:
Suez Canal is expanding to prevent another accident
The Suez Canal Authority reported that they plan to widen and deepen the Suez Canal after what happened with the Ever Given accident. They plan to widen the 18.6 mile stretch by 131 feet and deepen by 32 ft. to improve the waterway for ships coming through. According to Business Insider, This project is expected to take around two years.
