ANCHORS UP WEEKLY: OCEAN FREIGHT

Europe/Mediterranean to USA Trade lane Update:

Rates are Increasing: There is a container shortage all across Europe. To guarantee capacity, we suggest that you are booking cargo from North Europe ports 4-5 weeks in advance and for Mediterranean 2-3 weeks from CRD.

If you have an upcoming shipment, our experts strongly suggest to ship cargo on Premium to ensure space.

Port Congestion: US ports still remain highly congested and many ships are still waiting to reach the ports of New York and Long Beach .

Suggestions from our Experts:

  • Service from the Mediterranean into the Midwest via Montreal is better than via USEC, but comes at a premium cost.

If you have concerns about your shipments and want to speak with our experts, please feel free to reach out to us.
