The Pricing Coordinator’s goal is to provide quick and accurate pricing to earn profitable business, increase customer retention and drive revenue growth. Experience/Education:One to three years of related experience and/or training in Transportation & Logistics; experience with pricing structures, strategy and concepts in the Supply Chain or Logistics industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Associates or Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Pricing, Mathematics or Finance preferred.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and technical proficiency.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios and percentages. Must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Familiar and interested in global geography. Ability to multitask and make quick calculations. Must demonstrate advanced knowledge of MS Excel (set up formulas, pivot tables, troubleshoot, etc.)

Validate price records periodically to ensure only required and current data is in the system while maintaining privacy of competitive pricing. Daily communication with international partners, ocean carriers, and domestic vendors via phone, email or in person to gather and update costing information.
Actively engage in all pricing activities to ensure they are performed in a timely manner with high efficiency. Interpret customer pricing, transit time, and routing requirements provided by the sales team to identify the transportation option that best meets the customer’s needs and provide accurate pricing.
Monitor and implement manual price changes; maintain pricing procedures; maintenance of price sheet informational guides in MS Excel. Update the internal pricing tool with any new/updated rates. Collaborate with Sales Representatives for RFQs.
Data reporting and analytical tasks as assigned.
Provide support on special projects and other duties as assigned.
